The 2018 Newport Marathon Training Program is a 17 week program designed for all levels of runners who have previously run at least one 10k road race (completion of a half marathon suggested, but not required). The graduation race for this program is the 2018 Newport Marathon, but the program can also be used to train for any fall marathon (we can help you tailor the program as needed).
Each week will feature two organized training workouts, including form lessons to help participants avoid injury. Long runs will feature support stops, including water, an electrolyte beverage, and other goodies. All participants will receive a punch coupon (with TONS of savings!), weekly motivational and educational eNewsletters, a detailed daily training schedule (can be modified for your particular race timeline), a technical shirt, graduation party and more!
NEW THIS SEASON! We will be partnering with the infamous Sarah Kelly from 18 Maple to bring you programming specific to runners of all levels that will focus on developing increased range of motion in lower leg, hips, and torso, full body strength & stability with an emphasis on the lower body and common injury prone areas - ie. hips, knees, ankles.
Whether it will be your 1st marathon or your 50th, this program is for you! All paces are welcome.

When: Wednesdays @ 6:00 P.M. and Sundays @ 8:00 A.M. - Training begins 6/13/18
How Much: $150 (does not include 18 Maple program fee or graduation race registration)
